Ukrainian forces have “liquidated” more than 324,000 Russian soldiers since the war started on 24 February 2022.

The death toll has now reached 324,830 as Russian soldiers have been “liquidated” by Ukrainian forces as of 26 November.

On Saturday 1,070 Russian soldiers perished  and since the war started Moscow has lost tens of billions in military equipment.

Since February 2022 Russia has lost 10,279 armoured fighting vehicles, 7,874 artillery systems, and 5,513 tanks.

Moscow has been forced to relocate their already “overstretched” air defence systems from Kaliningrad after suffering colossal losses.

The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in their latest intelligence report on Sunday the move was made to “backfill recent losses.”

The MoD said on Sunday, “Exceptional Russian air transport movements through November 2023 suggest that Russia has likely moved strategic air defence systems from its Baltic coast enclave of Kaliningrad, to backfill recent losses on the Ukraine front.”

The intelligence report also said that there has been an “uptick in losses of SA-21 air defence systems” in the Russian occupied areas in Ukraine since late October 2023.

The report added, “As its most westerly outpost and bordered on three sides by NATO member states, Russia sees Kaliningrad as on of its most strategically sensitive regions.

“The fact that the Russian MoD appears willing to accept additional risk here highlights the overstretch the war has caused for some of Russia’s key, modern capabilities.”
