A new estate agency premises has been opened in Swindon providing hotdesks for self-employed estate agents to work at.

Antony Aslan was launched by Callum Aslantepe and Antony Sofroniou last year, but the business has now opened its first high street office, providing a space for self-employed estate agents to set up their workstations.

Aslantepe commented: “Since I was a boy, I knew I wanted to create and build something, then at 18, I fell into estate agency work and began thinking about how to build a business.

“I was working from home and from my car while we looked for somewhere suitable for our business.

“This place came up and we knew instantly that it was the right one for us.

“It looked very early 2000s, so we wanted to create somewhere that looked really slick and modern.

“We want to flip what people think an estate agent is, and give people a sense of freedom.”

Most of the unit provides desks for estate agents to set up at whatever hours suit their schedule.

Callum Aslantepe

Aslantepe added: “With the self-employed model, agents can take complete ownership of their work, hotdesk using our space where everything is set up for them, run their own diary, and take on a manageable amount of houses so that they can provide the level of service that customers expect.

“It feels like their own business, they earn a majority share of the business they’re bringing in, and they deal with their own clients, so those clients have the reassuring stability of keeping the same point-of-contact through the entire transaction.”We are thinking really long-term with this – we want to be here in Swindon, helping people to move home for years.

“Create the space and people will come.”
