A TV advertising campaign for the new property discovery app HOMING IN® will run on Sky TV channels from mid-March. The campaign aims to introduce the app to home-seekers and show how it can be used to find properties more efficiently.

The app displays for-sale and to-let properties on a satellite map, showing location, price, size and setting, with links to the full details on the agent’s website. Users can view available homes nearby in real time, whether on foot, in a vehicle, or using public transport.

HOMING IN currently has national coverage, with the highest concentration of listings in Greater London and the Home Counties.

Founder Corin Ashbee–Waugh says the TV campaign will raise awareness and offers agents a way to reduce reliance on major property portals.

Ashbee–Waugh commented: “Estate agents across the UK can now benefit from a low-cost – even free – marketing platform aimed at the tech-savvy consumers of today, receive enquiries direct through their own websites, and have a virtual for sale or to let board on every property.”

He added: “We have both free and chargeable models, but unlike the portals, who charge by the office, our rates are based on the number of available properties an agency has, with an entry level of £15 a month for up to 50 properties, each with a branded board, with a ‘no-price-rise-for-three-years’ and never more than 10% of Rightmove guarantees.”
