Winkworth is expanding further in the South-east, with a new office opening in Wokingham – its fourth office in Berkshire.

Winkworth Wokingham is a start-up and first business for franchisee Tim Cole, who has over 35 years’ experience as an agent in Wokingham and the surrounding areas.

The new office has opened in a landmark building which has been occupied by estate agencies for decades in Broad Street in the heart of the affluent market town.

The new Winkworth Wokingham office is operating within a five-mile radius of the town, towards Reading and also covering Bracknell,  Winnersh, Finchampstead, Crowthorne and Twyford.

Cole said: “It is so exciting to be running my own business for the first time as a Winkworth franchisee. I have always wanted to do this and I am delighted to be joining Winkworth to harness the power of their brand, head office support and the breadth of the network, working alongside the other franchisees in Reading, Sunningdale and Newbury. I look forward to building a successful business in an area I know really well.”

Dominic Agace, chief executive, Winkworth, commented: “Wokingham is an important strategic location for Winkworth, providing a corridor out of the capital for those looking to move out and also for people coming from other major towns and cities in the South-east.

“Tim Cole has an impressive track record in the area and reflects our desire to attract highly experienced new franchisees who can bring their expertise to the network, while benefitting from building a business and reaping the rewards of their success.”

He added: “We are looking to expand elsewhere in the region and would like to hear from property professionals who want to own their own business, with the support of Winkworth Franchising and our nationwide network.”
