Propertymark’s first industry-wide conference proves a big success – London WalletPropertymark says that its first industry-wide conference, held at Wembley Arena this week, proved a resounding success.

The event, which welcomed experts and delegates from across all property disciplines, attracted more than 1,5000 people.

Hosted by Jenni Falconer and a range of keynote speakers the event saw experts discuss a range of eye-opening and controversial topics within the sector, generating thought-provoking conversations right across the day.

With issues such as potential regulation and the evolution of artificial intelligence proving a massive hit. One Keynote speaker, Dave Garland, travelling from San Francisco to delve into the growing world of artificial intelligence (AI) and what potential it could unlock for estate agency.

Gerald Ratner also raised the roof with an insight into business and the importance of being bold, focused and daring.

Delegates from around the UK responded with positive feedback on the diverse mix of exhibitors and speakers across the day.

Rhiannon Foster a delegate from Alan Goldin Estates labelled the conference as ‘very insightful.’ “It was so interesting learning about the future of the industry. It is really fascinating to learn from experts about the current market.”

Hadleigh Residential delegate, Lauren Rapacioli echoed Ms. Foster’s comments noting the lettings insight panel was ‘brilliant.’ “It was excellent to hear about how to support our landlords with difficult times ahead. “We want to hold on to the landlords that we have and build on those numbers.”

Nathan Emerson, CEO of Propertymark commented: “It was incredible to bring the entire industry together at the OVO Arena with a true shared passion for encouraging forward-thinking conversation, innovative ideas, and a strong appetite for constantly evolving standards”.

The conference concluded with a speech from Dame Kelly Holmes, sharing her inspirational life story and explaining how everyone can always strive for new heights and raise their game.
