Vladimir Putin is being humiliated daily as he is losing then of thousands of troops, the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced during a meeting that more than 90,000 Russian troops have either been eliminated of severely wounded.
The Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, who will become the head of the Defense Ministry.
Within the next week it is expected that Federov will reveal draft proposals to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
President Zelensky said, “Of course, Ukraine is fully committed to diplomacy and wants to end this war as soon as possible. But Russia is not demonstrating a similar approach and is prolonging its aggression.”

“We will counter this through greater technological advancement and transformation of the defense sector,” he added.
In December 2025 Ukrainian heroes eliminated 35,000 Russia troops, in part helped with “technological solutions,” then in November 30,000 were lost and 26,000 in October.
Zelensky said, “It is clear that the (Ukrainian) technologies are working effectively.
There is a clear increase in the supply of drones to the troops.”
“We are preparing our new special formats to strengthen the drone component of our defense,” he added.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Tuesday that Russia lost 940 soldiers in one day, who were either wounded or eliminated.
According to a source the total number of Russian troops eliminated or severely wounded since the start of the war and 6 January 2026 is thought to be 1,213, 460.
The Kremlin has lost 101,443 operational tactical UAVs, 73,102 vehicles and fuel tankers, along with 35,831 artillery systems and 28 ships, according to Ukrainska Pravda.
