Ukrainian forces have destroyed more than $7 million worth of Russian equipment in just one night using a “secret drone.”

Overnight the “Achilles UAV strike company” of the 92nd assault brigade obliterated Russian T-72 and T-80 tanks, a D-20 tow gun and D-30 howitzers.

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov announced on Tuesday afternoon “skilled” Ukrainian fighters used a covert domestic drone in the attack.

Federov said on Telegram, “The secret Ukrainian drone is in action – the Russians are losing equipment worth over $7 million in a single night.

“The operators of the ‘Army of Drones’ have created a real hell for the occupiers.

This is the result of the efforts of skilled fighters and the Ukrainian drone, which the occupiers fear greatly.”

Federov added that he will reveal more about the secret drone, but for the time being “let it remain a ‘pleasant’ surprise for the enemies.”

Also the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out an attack on Russia’s Saki airbase in Crimea leaving fighter jets damaged and at least 30 Russian troops were killed last Wednesday.

An SBU source told the Kyiv Post Ukrainian drones overwhelmed Russian air defences which helped for the Neptune cruise missiles to finish off the attack.

The SBU source told the paper that at least 12 Su-24 and Su-30 fighter jets were on the airfield at the time of the drone and missile strike.

The airstrike also took out anti-aircraft Pantsir missile and gun systems and a training base used to teach operators to use the Iranian Mohajer-6 UAV.

The source said, “Russian telegram channels confirm serious destruction and losses – they write about at least 30 dead soldiers.”

Anton Gerashchenko, an advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, who confirmed some of the details.

Citing SBU sources Gerashchenko said, “The Security Service of Ukraine and Ukrainian Naval Forces launched a large-scale strike on Saki military airfield in occupied Crimea last night.”
