Ukrainian intelligence has said that Russian citizens who live in the Belgorod region are moaning that they cannot sleep because Ukrainian drones are attacking targets in the area.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine intercepted communications that Russian’s are complaining drones are attacking Russian military depots creating huge explosions across the Belgorod region.

Intercepted phone call revealed that a Russian woman was complaining because a substation was hit by a Ukrainian drone, Newsweek reports.

The intercepted call revealed the Russian woman saying, “There’s a drone that fell on the substation, the whole side is without power. And over there, where the soldiers are, and the drone hit, and it went boom.

“Sasha also heard it, and was like, ‘Mom, what’s exploding over there?’ I sent him to sleep.”

Then the poor woman moaned that she did not get any sleep as Ukrainian forces were striking Russian military depots close to the Gayvoron area.

Meanwhile, Ukrainians woke up on Christmas Day to explosions as Vladimir Putin “deliberately chose Christmas for an attack.”

Russian forces launched more than 70 missiles and more than 50 were shot down, but President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Wednesday “there were hits.”

There was more than 70 ballistic missiles with more than a hundred attack drones which were intended to destroy “energy infrastructure.”

President Zelensky said on Christmas Day, “Today, Putin deliberately chose Christmas for an attack. What could be more inhumane? Over 70 missiles, including ballistic ones, and more than a hundred attack drones.

“The targets are our energy infrastructure. They continue to fight for a blackout in Ukraine.”

He added, “As of now, there are power outages in several regions. Power engineers are working to restore power supply as soon as possible.”
