Mark Tunstall and Murdi van Hien

Savills has completed the acquisition of Mark Tunstall Property, a super-prime lettings and management business operating in prime central London.

The deal strengthens Savills’ offer to high-net-worth landlords and tenants in central and north London, while also supporting its super-prime lettings activity across the wider UK.

Mark Tunstall will join as co-head of super-prime lettings (London), working alongside Isabella Birch Reynardson, co-head of super-prime lettings (UK). He will be based at the firm’s Sloane Street office and will work closely with Savills’ Private Office and international network.

Founded 14 years ago, Mark Tunstall Property specialises in high-value rental homes across prime central London. Tunstall has more than 20 years’ experience in the sector, including previous roles as head of lettings at Chesterfield and establishing Savills’ super-prime lettings department before launching his own firm.

Also joining Savills is Murdi van Hien, who has over 16 years’ experience in the prime central London market. She began her career at Savills and returns as a director within the super-prime lettings team.

Amelia Greene, head of UK lettings at Savills, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Mark and Murdi back to Savills. The expansion of our super prime lettings department in London speaks to the growth and potential we see in this marketplace and our commitment to this key area of our business. As the needs of our customers continue to evolve, whether it be requirements for a pied a terre, relocating for business or education, or trying out a new area before buying, the bespoke, discreet service we provide has never been more important and Mark and Murdi are great additions to the team.”

Mark Tunstall added: “I am delighted to be returning to Savills as co-head of super prime lettings, London, a team that I originally established back in 2011. I have taken great pride in building enduring relationships with clients and tenants alike by offering simple, straightforward advice based on a clear understanding of their needs.  These are values shared by Savills, so I am excited to build on their already considerable success in the high net worth arena as the sector continues to grow.”
