Senator John Kennedy has issued a warning to Russia that the US is ready to turn the country into “fish food” and is calling for further pressure on Moscow.

Fox News reported that the Kremlin has always “reneged” on their promises and Kenedy criticised Vladimir Putin over his actions against Ukraine.

Kenedy said, “Putin has reneged on every promise that he has made to President Trump. His latest proposal is, well, nothing. He wants to keep all the territory that he’s taken.”

He said that Putin continues to try and stop Europe supporting Ukraine and has insisted that the US blocks Kyiv from joining NATO.

He slammed Putin for disrespecting the US President and warned that America “are willing to turn him [Putin] and his country [Russia] into fish food.”

On Saturday the US President blasted that Putin is “tapping” him and that he does not want peace in Ukraine as Russia continues to hit civilians with missiles.

Kennedy insisted, “We’ve got to make Putin understand that there is a price to be paid for his jacking our President around.”

Last Thursday Trump furiously hit out at Putin as a cruise missile and drones in an attack that killed eight civilians and injuring more than 77.

Trump wrote on his social media account Truth Social, “I am not happy with the Russian strikes on Kyiv. Not necessary, and very bad timing.”

He added, “Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!”
