Ask a random group of adults what it is they do for fun and you’re likely to encounter a brief moment of buffering. Ask a group of kids the same question and you’ll get a cacophony of ideas. While it is unclear how and when this change happens, Papaya has a bold vision for bringing back play to the kids in all of us. A leader in the skill-gaming industry, Papaya Gaming is excited to share its campaign to emphasize the “Power of Play,” encouraging everyone to incorporate play into their everyday lives. Their initiative invites us not just to “Play On,” but to connect with others, creating fun at the intersection of social media technology and gaming through their multiplayer tournaments. Papaya leverages its technological sophistication to open up a whole world of gaming, right at our fingertips.

Founded in 2019, the Tel Aviv-based company positioned itself as a leading company in the skill-gaming industry. Games include Papaya Solitaire, Papaya Bubble, and Papaya Bingo all designed to test players’ skills and bring people together. As players compete, the technology matches other players with a similar skill level, encouraging connectivity and ensuring a thrilling tournament. Papaya recognized the need for adults to reintroduce play into their lives and launched the Play On campaign in the UK on December 26th.

The importance of having fun

Emphasizing the desire to connect with not just our inner child, but others as well, Papaya installed a 165-foot high swing for adults to compete to see who could swing the highest (of course). To reach those who would prefer to remain a bit more grounded, Papaya featured a series of ads during Manchester City’s Premier League match and a 3D billboard in Piccadilly Circus. All this to say, Papaya is ready to bring the “Power of Play” to any and everyone!

Furthering their belief in the power of play, Papaya brought in the very best to introduce this initiative. Creating the campaign with key industry leaders James Vincent and Dom Goldman, the gaming group brought award-winning creativity to the project. They didn’t stop there, either. By tapping director Nicolai Fuglsig and producer MJZ on board, Papaya ensured exceptional production value and compelling storytelling to launch “Play On” right into gamers’ hands. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Papaya has been noted for its creative campaign approach to encouraging adults to play. Including the top-notch talent for their campaign demonstrates Papaya’s passion for bringing more fun into daily life.

Leading the way in gaming innovation

Papaya is leading the way when it comes to innovation in gaming. The company sets itself apart from gambling games by focusing exclusively on skill-based games. Moreover, by allowing players to compete against others at a similar skill level, Papaya’s social tournament platform helps players connect and engage with one another.

Papaya’s research highlights the importance of play for cognitive development and its role in helping individuals overcome challenges. A people-centered approach is at the heart of Papaya’s mission, and the organization hopes to continue expanding and bringing play to everyone.

Ready to bring the “Power of Play” into your own life and join social tournaments? Check out Papaya’s campaign and all they have to offer on their website. Then get ready to game on!
