The much-respected Ukrainian spy chief Lt-Gen Kyrylo Budanov, has issued a warning that Vladimir Putin will invade NATO within a year.

The Ukrainian spy chief who is probably one of the best in the world, is rarely wrong and warned that Putin will invade Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia in 2027.

Budanov has said that Moscow will also attack Poland, he said, “According to the main plan, the Russian Federation was supposed to be ready to start operations in 2030.”

He added, “Now the plans have been adjusted, revised towards reducing the deadlines to 2027.”

Any strike on NATO will trigger Article 5 and the alliance will then attack Russia using all available means, meaning World War Three has begun.

Budanov explained Putin’s intensions, he said that Putin see’s Russian as an “empire” and needs to expand their “worldview” which has “deep historical and psychological traumas.”

The Ukrainian spy master said, In order for an empire – and they see themselves as an empire – to develop, you always have to move somewhere to expand your influence and territory.”

According Budanov, the battle plans state, the former Soviet countries, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania will all come “under occupation.”

“Poland is now, according to the plans that we know, considered purely for strikes, for a military campaign without capture,” he said.

On Friday during Putin’s annual Q&A, he refused to rule out military action when asked by the BBC, he made it clear, that the West must do what he wants.

Putin said, “There will be no operations if you treat us with respect, if you take our interests into account, just as we always tried to respect yours.

“And if you do not deceive us, as it happened with NATO’s eastward expansion.”

He accused the West of creating the situation and Western leaders are “fanning the flames by saying they are preparing for war with Russia.”
