The last domino falls: Stellantis EVs now have Tesla Supercharger access

As of today, Jeep, Dodge and Stellantis EVs can plug in and charge on Tesla’s Supercharger network, the largest DC charging network in North America. Stellantis was the last brand set to gain access, so now just about every EV in America can use Superchargers, with the right adapters.

Ever since Tesla announced it would open its charging network in 2022 (calling the connector the North American Charging Standard, or NACS), we’ve been covering the gradual drip-drip of companies announcing NACS support and getting access to Tesla’s Supercharger network, after the connector got its official SAE certification.

Last year was the year that we expected a big flood of vehicles to gain access, and several brands did throughout the year.

But there was one brand left: Stellantis.

Stellantis has been behind other brands in terms of fuel efficiency and EV adoption, and behind on the NACS transition as well. It was the last automaker to announce NACS adoption last November, and the last one left on Tesla’s “coming soon” page.

Today it’s been removed from the coming soon section, and added to the “supported” section – which now makes up the whole page. Here’s the list of brands that can access Tesla Superchargers:

  • Ford
  • Rivian
  • General Motors (GM)
  • Volvo
  • Polestar
  • Nissan
  • Lucid
  • Mercedes-Benz
  • Hyundai
  • Genesis
  • Kia
  • Honda
  • Acura
  • JLR
  • Audi
  • Porsche
  • Toyota
  • Volkswagen (VW)
  • Subaru
  • BMW
  • Stellantis

Stellantis encompasses several sub-brands with EVs, including Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, and Maserati. In general, Supercharger access will come to post-2024 model years of the Dodge Charger Daytona, Jeep Wagoneer S and Recon, Ram ProMaster EV, Fiat 500e, and Maserati GranTurismo/GranCabrio/Grecale Folgore.

None of these vehicles have native NACS ports yet (the first Stellantis EV planned to come with one is the 2027 Charger EV), so you’ll need an adapter. Those cost $250 from dealerships or online (though it’s currently listed as on sale for $230).

Then a charge can be started from either Stellantis’ app or the Tesla app. Plug & Charge support – the ability to plug in and start charging automatically – will come later.
