Tottenham player ratings vs Burnley: Maddison oozes class once again

ottenham thrashed Burnley 5-2 at Turf Moor as their impressive start to life under Ange Postecoglou continued.

After a surprise Burnley opener scored by Lyle Foster, Spurs equalised after 16 minutes through Heung-min Son, who went on to complete his hat-trick in the second half.

Cristian Romero put Spurs ahead at the break when he smashed the ball through the bodies and into the net, before James Maddison made it 3-1 with a second-half stunner.

Integral again to everything Spurs do, and capped it off with another goal. Tottenham’s best player, despite Son’s hat-trick.
