The US President has told the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he should not strike Moscow a day after asking why he has not targeted the Russian capital.

It has been reported that Donald Trump has been considering sending Kyiv long-range precision Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Late on Tuesday Trump told reporters that “no, he shouldn’t target Moscow” when he was asked if Zelensky should attack the capital city of Moscow.

Trump asked Kyiv “why haven’t you struck Moscow?” to which they said, “we can if you give us the weapons,” the Financial Times reported.

Trump is considering to send Tomahawk missiles which can easily strike Moscow and other regions in Russia, these were recently used to strike Iran.

It has further been reported the US President is mulling over the idea of sending the American JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) to Ukraine, Military Watch Magazine reported.

The Military Watch Magazine revealed an unnamed source close to Trump made the claim and rumours have been circling.

Trump has said that weapons have already been shipped to Ukraine after being asked what his thoughts are of the Patriot missiles being bought by Western allies.

The US President said that the Patriot missile defence systems will be arriving from Germany and NATO will be paying America back “for everything.”

Trump said, “And in all cases, the United States gets paid back in full. So what’s happening, as you know, is the European Union, if you look, mostly European Union stuff, but let’s put it in the form of NATO, it’s very similar, but NATO’s going to pay us back for everything.”
