Vladimir Putin’s Black Sea Navy headquarters has been hit in a missile strike which has caused “major damage” and a Russian official in Crimea has “warned another attack is possible.”

Russian installed governor in Crimea has admitted on Friday that at least one Ukrainian missile hit the command post.

The Russian Defence Ministry initially said that a soldier was killed in the missile strike, then in an update they said the person is missing.

The “Black Sea Fleet HQ in Sevastopol is supposed to be the most protected building in Crimea” which will be an embarrassment for Kremlin officials.

People in the area reported seeing missiles fly overhead before they heard the explosions with thick black plumes of smoke visible for many miles.

In the port of Sevastopol explosions were heard and smoke can be seen billowing out of an enormous hole at the Russian Navy command post in the coastal HQ of the Black Sea.

People were told to immediately “head to shelters if t you the siren” as the emergency services battled to contain the flames.

Local governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said a fragment fell near the Lunacharsky Theater, saying, “All emergency services have arrived at the scene. Information about the victims is being clarified. Please remain calm.”

In an update the governor “warned another attack is possible” imminently in the area telling people to head to shelters when the air raid sirens are heard.

He wrote on Telegram, “Please do not travel to the city center. Don’t leave buildings.

At the sound of the siren, everyone who is near the fleet headquarters should proceed to shelters.

Local media have reported that the command post building had suffered “major damage” in the missile attack.

Ukraine sent an ominous threat to Moscow in May that they will liberate Crimea in any way that they “deem necessary” and warn they will not “ask anyone for permission,” and true to their word there has been a series of attacks which has gathered pace the past two weeks.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said Crimea is a “our land” and warned Russians if they have “a little bit of intelligence” then they need “to get out” immediately.

Danilov told Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, “It’s hard for me to say whether they will give something away without a fight.

“All I can say is that, if necessary, we will release in such a way that we consider necessary at the time of making certain decisions.”

He then said, “if there is a need for us to use slightly different means there, they will certainly be used.”

“We are not going to ask anyone for permission about this. This is our land, and our task is to liberate it.”

The NSDC Secretary then commented on the recent explosions in Sevastopol which saw Ukraine launch a daring raid in a drone attack which blew up an enormous oil tank in the port city.

Danilov said, “…These signals are going accordingly.

“I think that people who have a little bit of intelligence have an understanding that they need to get out of the peninsula as soon as possible.”
