After a fiercely contested ‘best and final’ bidding process, Sycamore Property has successfully acquired Winnard Brown Group Ltd in Wigan.
This is second acquisition of the year for the Burnley-based estate agency, launched in 2007 by Ryan McCormack, and comes just two months since the firm purchased Falcon & Foxglove, also located in Burnley.
The sale of Winnard comes in the wake of executive director Craig Winnard’s decision to retire.
“It is with great pride and a sense of completion that we reflect on the journey of Winnard Property Group as we officially mark the sale of the business to Sycamore Property,” he said.

Julie Drake of Adam J Walker and Associates Limited, who brokered the deal, added: “The North-West is becoming a hotspot, with many buyers registering to purchase in the area.
