John German Estate Agents has acquired the property sales stock for Derby, Ashbourne and Matlock from Scargill Mann & Co.

The news has been shared to colleagues and clients following Dean Mann’s retirement from the residential sales side of Scargill Mann & Co, the company which he co-founded with Simon Scargill in 1995.

Scargill Mann & Co will continue trading as a residential letting business and continue to operate its sales branch in Burton.

John German, a long established estate agency, has ten branches across the Midlands, including Ashbourne and Derby.

Several members of Scargill Mann & Co staff have been offered opportunities to work for John German, which founded in 1840, remains independently owned.

Phill Sandbach, director, John German, commented: “I have known Dean for many years and our businesses have shared the same professional approach and ethos, so it was a natural fit for Dean to approach us. We look forward to assisting all the former Scargill Mann clients on their home moving journeys.”

Mann added: “I am delighted that John German were able to step in and am confident that they will look after the Scargill Mann clients going forward.”
