WeWork CFO Andre Fernandez to resign

said in a filing late Wednesday that Chief Financial Officer Andre Fernandez is resigning, effective June 1. This comes a little over a week after WeWork announced the departure of CEO Sandeep Mathrani. In the filing, WeWork said that the CFO departure “is not the result of any disagreement with the company with respect to any matter relating to financial controls, financial statements or any other operations, policies or practices.” WeWork’s board has appointed Kurt Wehner, chief accounting officer, as CFO and treasurer, effective June 1. Shares of WeWork rose 1% in the aftermarket after ending the regular trading day down 2.6%.
