Opinions vary on whether cropped or long and low-rise (yikes!) is the way to go this year. A compelling case is being made for ‘stovepipe’ variations, which tread a nice tailored line between straight and skinny and fall below the ankle. Presumably, stovepipe implies something looser than ultra-tight drainpipes. In any case, Khaite did beautiful things with straight jeans in its SS26 show, so that’s where to head if you’re ready to splurge.
