What time is WWE Royal Rumble 2026 today? How to watch and results

The 39th annual Royal Rumble event will take place on Saturday at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and this will mark the very first Premium Live Event (PLE) of its kind, in a traditional sense, to be held outside of North America.

Debuting in 1988, the Royal Rumble has become one of the most eagerly anticipated PLE’s in the WWE annual calendar with its unique format of an epic 30-person battle providing many unforgettable moments over the past three decades.

This year’s event will once again feature two Royal Rumble matches for the men and the women.

The match begins with two superstars in the ring, and every 90 seconds, a new competitor joins until all 30 have entered. A superstar is eliminated if they are thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the arena floor, with the last remaining competitor earning an opportunity for a championship match at WrestleMania this April in Las Vegas.

They will be joined by 23 other male superstars, including Royal Rumble debutants such as Oba Femi and Je’Von Evans.

Meanwhile, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, Bayley, Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, Charlotte Flair, Lash Legend, Alexa Bliss and Chelsea Green will compete in arguably the most star-studded women’s Royal Rumble match in history.

There are two huge matches on the undercard as Drew McIntyre puts his newly-won Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Sami Zayn in his first title defence.

Elsewhere, Gunther will be pulling double duty on Saturday as before entering the men’s Royal Rumble, he faces the legendary AJ Styles.
