Business partners Rupal and Ravi Patel have completed on the acquisition of the Winkworth Hammersmith office in West London.

The pair acquired the Hammersmith office from long-standing Winkworth franchisee Carl Burgess and Ben Hunt. This follows their move in 2022 when they took over the Winkworth Shepherds Bush franchise from Carl. Rupal and Ravi will continue to work with the existing team already in place at Winkworth Hammersmith, offering sales, lettings, and property management.

Ravi Patel

Rupal has more than 23 years’ experience in property with Savills, Goldschmidt & Howland and Ellis & Co, before joining Winkworth, while his business partner, Ravi, is an IT specialist.

Rupal said: “This has been one of the busiest starts [to the housing market] to the year for some time. We are seeing needs-based clients now making the move. This includes downsizers, some of whom are staying in the area and moving to a smaller property, while others are selling up, opting for a pied a terre and moving to the Cotswolds and other destinations easily reached from West London.”

Dominic Agace, chief executive, Winkworth, said: “Rupal and Ravi have seen considerable success at Shepherd’s Bush, building on the business which Carl Burgess had created and run for many years as one of our longest serving franchisees. We wish Carl the very best for the future. We are delighted that Rupal and Ravi are expanding their business. They are exactly the kind of talented, committed and entrepreneurial professionals we are keen to attract to join Winkworth.”
