Women in Estate Agency (WiEA) has announced the launch of its new Charter Membership program, an upcoming rebrand, and the launch of “The WiEA Pod” podcast series.

WiEA has come a very long way since it started as a Facebook group. In recent years it has delivered stand out conferences, leadership training and regional events, and it is determined to build on this success and to go even further in 2025 with new and exciting initiatives.

The Charter Membership program offers organisations and individuals a unique opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to inclusivity, leadership, and excellence within the estate agency industry all year round, not just around key events such as the WiEA Conference. Charter Members will be recognised as champions of gender equality, actively supporting WiEA’s mission to empower women of all backgrounds to develop, grow, and achieve their full potential.

“This is a pivotal moment for WiEA,” said Clare Hughes,WiEA co-founder. “The Charter Membership solidifies our mission to unite the industry in creating a more equitable environment. It’s about recognising and celebrating those organisations that are not only committed to our values but are also taking concrete steps to support the advancement of women.”

In addition to the launch of the Charter Membership, WiEA has unveiled its rebrand.

“We’re incredibly excited to introduce our rebrand,” added Verona Frankish, WiEA Chair. “This isn’t just a cosmetic change; it’s a reflection of our growth and the evolving needs of our community. We believe the new brand will enable us to connect even more effectively and powerfully with our members and the wider industry.”

Kirsty Franks, WiEA committee member, reflected on the upcoming podcast: “The WiEA Pod promises to be an invaluable resource, offering insights from both the celebrated leaders shaping the property sector and the unsung heroes making a tangible impact every day. We’re having conversations with industry giants and those quietly demonstrating resilience and driving change behind the scenes. Our aim is to deliver a podcast that not only inspires with well-known success stories but also illuminates the less visible journeys and crucial contributions within our community.”
